NOTE: GMA Network is a major commercial broadcast television and radio network in the Philippines. GMA Network is the flagship property of publicly traded GMA Network Inc. Its first broadcast on television was on October 29, 1961, GMA Network (formerly known as RBS TV Channel 7, GMA Radio-Television Arts then GMA Rainbow Satellite Network) is commonly signified to as the "Kapuso Network" in reference to the outline of the company’s logo. NOTE: But in late-December 1972, RBS was allowed by the government to return on the air this time by its blocktime agreement with the National Media Production Center (NMPC), however with limited three-month permits. (2010-11) on the first part of sign on notice, it fades in after national anthem, it also fades out before the station I.D., while for sign off notice, it fades out to national anthem.

(2011-14) after national anthem while sign on, it fades in to sign on notice only.

(2014) before sign on notice & after national anthem, they are airing Panatang Makabayan, led by Jillian Ward.

After Sign Off & Before Sign On Sequences:

(1992-2010) after sign off, it fades in to SMPTE Color Bars with 1000 Hz tone. the color bars has text "GMA TV Ch. 7 EDSA TOC MLA" (1992-2005), "GMA TV Channel 7 GNC EDSA Manila" (2005) and "GMA Channel 7 TOC Manila" (2005-present). sometimes the text is before sign on, the Color Bars fades out to national anthem.

(2010-13) after sign off, they turned into SMPTE Color Bars with 1000 Hz tone without fade transition.

(2013-14; 2015-present) After the time of GMA-7's closedown, they are in test card montage. later, the station will be unplugged as turning into SMPTE Color Bars with 1000 Hz tone. it will be unplugged after signed off.

(2014-15) after sign off, they are in GMA-7 2002 Logo Test Card, before Color Bars.

(2012-17) before sign on, the test card fades out to national anthem before station notice.

Network Restart:

On December 27, 2015, The network restarted for first time. They are too late & they didn't sign off. A reason why the network restarts:

  • They are airing live mass on Vatican City for Christmas.

Since 1987, 24 hours of the day Election coverage of the year.

After live mass on 2015, they redirected it to updated Philippine National Anthem, airing updated sign on notice, station I.D. & start of programming.

'During the network's first restart, they updated the Philippine National Anthem & station notice.'

After live mass on 2016, they are airing some plugs by GMA Network, then redirected to Philippine National Anthem, airing sign on notice, station I.D. & start of programming.

Operates

GMA-7 is signing on every 4:10 AM, while they sign off until 12:25 AM on Monday-Thursday. They signing on also every 4:10 AM, while they signing off until 12:30 AM on Friday, On Saturday, they signing on every 4:30 AM, while they sign off until 12:30 AM on Sunday, while signing on every 4:00 AM, while they sign off until 1:40 AM on Monday, during Holy Week, they sign on every 8:00 AM and signing off every 12:00 MN. after The 700 Club Asia, GMA signs off. then the network signs on before started programming.
