Community-supported public television station KTCI-TV St. Paul/Minneapolis channel 17 now leaves the air to conduct normal transmitter maintenance. KTCI-TV is owned-and-operated by Twin Cities Public Television, Incorporated, with studios in the Minnesota Statehood Centennial Memorial Building for Educational Television at 1640 Como Avenue, using microwave link KQR-98, and transmitting facilities in Shoreview, Minnesota. KTCI is governed by the Board of Trustees drawn from the community it serves. We operate on a federally assigned frequency of 488 to 494 megahertz. Most portions of this broadcast day were mechanically reproduced broadcasts, while the other portion were live broadcasts. We have been at your service presenting programs which inform, stimulate, and entertain. Now, on behalf of the entire staff of KTCI-TV and its Board of Trustees, we wish you a pleasant good night.
