About the 2009 message[]

The above message was broadcast on analog channel 13 until June 12, 2009, when WVEC-TV would permanently sign-off its analog signal and broadcast solely on digital television. Following the message, the analog service would leave the air until the announced time. This was done to prepare viewers for WVEC-TV's impending switch to all-digital transmission.
